The calculator uses your practice data (or national averages) to model value across four pillars. In Simple Mode, you enter 4 core fields — advanced fields auto-populate with national averages behind the scenes.
National averages for independent practices. Billing cost auto-calculates at 8% of monthly collections.
Advanced Mode
For more precision, Advanced Mode lets you customize 6 additional inputs:
- Denial Rate — current % of denied claims (avg: 10%)
- Card Processing Rate — credit card fees (avg: 3.0%)
- Clearinghouse Fees — monthly cost (avg: $75)
- Annual Training Budget — per-clinician CE (avg: $1,500)
- Billing Hours — monthly admin time (avg: 10 hrs)
- Staff Billing Rate — hourly rate (avg: $35/hr)
These auto-populate with national averages when in Simple Mode.
